I want to tell you a little about the wax I’ve chosen to use. My focus is on improving well-being through the use of beautiful fragrances. I use natural vegan-friendly coconut and rapeseed wax, which aligns perfectly with my ethos of sustainable and clean living. This completely natural vegetable wax burns cleanly and provides a wonderful scent throw.

I’ve worked hard to perfect my candle-making process, ensuring that fragrances are mixed at just the right temperature and poured at the optimal stage to create lovely smooth tops as well as provide the best scent. While natural products may sometimes result in slightly bumpy tops or less adherence to the sides of the jar after burning, this doesn’t affect their ability to spread delightful aromas throughout your home. 

But why skincare? Well, my sensitive, acne-prone skin led me down this path. Makeup often triggered breakouts, and I tried countless remedies, from over-the-counter solutions to antibiotics. Eventually, I sought specialised dermatology treatments. Interestingly, my allergies to artificial colors—discovered during my cake decorating and nail art adventures—also played a role. Purple eyeliner once left me with swollen eyes, and touching any artificial colour caused blisters on my hands.

Due to this, I’ve needed to be incredibly careful about what I put on my skin. Mass-market products, even the expensive ones, can be full of sulphates and colorants that really irritate my skin. So, I set out to find and make beautiful natural products that truly cared for my skin and because these are handmade, I know exactly what goes into them.
